PREPARATION

  1. Place chickpeas in water and let soak at least 12 hours or overnight.
  2. Drain chickpeas, place into a blender. Add Fant for burgers, cumin, and parsley, and blend for 2–3 minutes until the mixture is a coarse paste.
  3. Shape the mixture into balls (about 12).
  4. Fry in hot oil for 3–4 minutes, until golden on all sides
  5. Serve falafel with the sauce of your choice.
  6. Tip: Falafel goes best with a yogurt sauce containing a little lemon juice and chili.
