Considering that 100 grams of lentils contain 48 percent protein and 46 percent fibre of the total recommended daily amounts, this legume should be a must in our weekly menu. To start, try out this lentil stew, a simple dish with bay leaf and pancetta that will make your kitchen smell fantastic.
Ingredients
1 packet
Fant seasoning mix for beans
20 g
butter
40 g
Podravka pancetta
50 g
carrots
200 g
potatoes
1 leaf
Vegeta Maestro Bay leaf
¼ teaspoon
Vegeta Maestro marjoram
300 g
Podravka Green lentils
PREPARATION
Cook soaked lentils. Mix contents of Fant packet with 100 ml warm water and let stand a few minutes. Fry sliced pancetta in butter. Add carrots and potatoes cut into cubes, bay leaf, marjoram, and 1 litre water. Add in prepared Fant mix and cooked lentils, and cook together for about 10 minutes.
SERVING
Serve warm.
